I'm getting a new gaming console, help me out!

I am thinking of getting a new gaming console at Christmas, but I'm not very familiar with either of these (I have played them!) , so I need some help!
I'll tell you what type of games I like. Mainly shoot 'em up. COD, etc.. I don't mind a few racing games.

So here is the poll!

I feel xbox is very good for FPS shooters - Although i would favour PS for racing games etc.
Also Xbox has a dedicated server so (even though you have to pay for a subscricption) You won't have lag while playing online (Unless you have connection problems of your own)

Overall i say, go for an xbox! (They're cheaper aswell)

Do NOT Get XBOX, Way worse than PS3. They look worse, graphics are worse, brake more often, have to pay for online. PS3 has AMAZING GAMES, IT LOOKS AWESOME! THE GRAPHICS ARE OUTSTANDING AND IT HARDLY EVER EVER BRAKES. (Only if you punch it like extremly hard.)

So get a PS3.

It may brake more if you treat it badly, i've had mine for about a year (got it for £50)
and its fine, handling of the controller makes it easier with FPS.
